Madolyn J. (Hinkle) Nitzschke\ 1927-2007\ Of Fenton, formerly of Mt. Morris, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, May 8, 2007 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and also Wednesday from 12:00am until time of 1:00pm service. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to the Whaley Childrens Center or The First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris; envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.\ \ \ Madolyn was born February 24, 1927 in Mt. Morris, Michigan, the daughter of Ida (Stoakley) Hinkle. She married Jay D. Nitzschke August 11, 1945 at the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church of which she was a member. Madolyn retired from Old Kent Bank in 1993 after enjoying many positions in banking over 23 years. She also was an integral part of the Mt. Morris High School class of 1945. She was a dear beloved wife and precious mother of three children.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 61 years Jay, two daughters, Cheryl Avitts of Fenton, and Teresa Garcia of Millbrae, CA., and son Randy and wife Susan of Grand Blanc, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one sister Doris McFadden and husband Stan of Lupton, MI; one brother Robert and Dorothy Hinkle of Durand, sister-in-law Eileen Hinkle of Grass Valley, CA., special sister Patricia Cholvin of Palm Desert, CA., special life long friend, Laura (Davis) Scherrer of Flushing, special friend Nancy (Lytle) Brown of Plecencia, CA., \ and many nieces and nephews.\ \ Madolyn was preceded in death by her parents Ida Frances Hinkle and step father, Giles Schermerhorn, three brothers, Cecil, Varnice , and John Hinkle and two sisters, Florence Ranke, and Buelah Hart.\ \ Madolyn will be sadly missed by her husband and children and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.\
