Jay -- you may not remember Ray and me from the early 1950's card club on Saturday nights, but we would like to send you and your family our condolences and hope you find comfort in knowing that others sympathize with you and your family in the loss of Madolyn, and that we often think of the good times we had with friends and relatives when we were young. The old gang members are leaving us one by one, but we must carry on until our time arrives. We wish the best for you and your family, with lots of love.\

DearUncle Jay-I'm sorry I waa unable to get downstate for the funeral. I'm still working as a nurse at St.Mary's in Standish and we're in a state survey situation right now. My husband retired from General Motors 2 years ago and we moved to our current home on Wixom Lake. We really love it, but I'm still\
at work a few days a week.\
Marci-my sweetest friend and daughter-has kept me posted on the details, she's the very best daughter a mother could have,I'm glad she was able to be there for you.\
My fondest memories are of playng in your Mt.Morris house and running between the connecting closets between the bedrooms-playing hide and seek and generally chasing each other-do you remember that house? I do. And I'll always remember Aunt Madelyn and her great laugh! I know you've been around the country-what a lot of adventures you two had! I remember at Pam's wedding reception she was getting ready to leave with the U-Haul to drive to Oregon to meet you with the kids. I was jealous in a way, such a great experience!\
I hope that you can find peace and some solace, your children will help you,it was very difficult for me to pick up the pieces when my mom died in Florida,I couldn't have done it without my sister Patti's help and support. But mom gave us a great legacy, always there, always supportive, always loving. \
It's so strange, all the things that have happened over the years, but the long term memories of those early days remain, always fondly and with happiness. \
Please take care, you have that same dreaded Rheumatoid Arthritis demon that caused my mom so much pain and agony,I have been on a mission for some sort of resolution since my days as a career nurse, maybe someday, we can only pray!It has taken it's toll on enough famaily members.\
So.I am thinking of you and wishing you the best, keep in \
touch and here is my address and e-mail-1649 Maple Point Rd. Beaverton, Michigann 48612 989-426-2522,weebeepecks@aol.com\
Love and prayers,\

I will always remember Aunt Madolyn fondly. She was so sweet and fun to hang around with. She always seemed to care about how I was and what I was doing in life. My fondest memory of her is our day trip to see The Phantom of the Opera. I felt so loved and special that she wanted to take me there with her. Us girls just had a ball! Anyway, you'll always be in my heart, Aunt Madolyn. Love, Erica
