Obituary of Virginia Ann Miner

Virginia Ann Miner (Gibson)\ Vassar, Michigan\ Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Bay Medical Center.Virginia was born May 4, 1942 in Millington, Michigan to Gerald C. Gibson and Helen J. Gibson (Gutek). She graduated from Millington High School in 1960 and married Larry L. Miner on October 8th of the same year. Together, they had three daughters who with their father and families are left to cherish her memory. Teri Tyson and fiancA Donald Moore, Vassar, Michigan; Trisha and David Moore, Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; and Sheri and Jeffrey Karst, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Also surviving are her step-mother Helen Gibson, her sisters Sharon (Ronald) Foskett and Ann (Dan) Diener, sister-in-law, Judith Gibson, brother-in-law, Gary (Ann) Miner, son-in-law, Craig Tyson, grandchildren, Taylor Tyson, Colton Tyson, Makenna Karst, Kadee Karst, Kinslee Karst, and Virginia (Jenna) Moore, her dog Willie, as well as several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gerald Gibson.\ A Memorial Mass will take place on Sunday January 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar. Rev. Fr. Steven Killey officiating.
