Obituary of Lucille Adeline Davy

Davy, Lucille A. age 88, of Hale, died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at her home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am ,Thursday , March 22, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Mr. Vernon Lawrence officiating with burial following in Flint Memorial Park. Lucilleas family will be present to receive friends 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday and from 10:00 am until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be considered to the American Cancer Society.\ Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Lucille was born May 18, 1918 in Hanover, Michigan the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Harley and Lena (Sines) Airgood. She and Archie Davy were united in marriage in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1985. Lucille would later marry Glen G. Wise in 1991. He also would precede her in death in 2001. Lucille enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and shopping, especially at Walmart. \ \ Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Janice and husband Cecil Chappell of Hale, Jane and husband Ron Ball Jr. of Hale, Connie and husband Clarence French of Lapeer, Jalena and husband Frank Goode of Alabama; two sons, Keith Davy of Hale, Darwin and wife Jackoline Davy of Owosso; one hundred and six grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Linda Davy of Lapeer; sister-in-law Anita Airgood; and numerous nieces and nephews. \ \ Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; son, James Davy in 1943; son Alvin Davy in 2003; five brothers and two sisters.\ \ Friends may share memories, prayers, and stories at the funeral home and online at www.martinfuneralhome.com. \
