KING, Doris of Mt. Morris, age 74, died Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Genesys Health Park in Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 3:30 pm Monday , March 26,2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Pastor Bob Cohen officiating with a family committal at 12:00 pm Tuesday in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm & 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Sunday, and 2:00 pm until the time of the service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Doris was born September 23, 1932 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth and Beatrice Elaine (Davis) Frownfelter. She graduated from Beecher High School, Class of 1950. Doris married William King on July 29, 1950. \ \ She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and was an avid bowler on the Marie Klatt League.\ \ She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #64, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3609, and the Moose Lodge of Birch Run.\ \ Left to cherish Dorisa memory are her special friend Henry Lerche; children, Kenneth (Georgana) King of Midland, Dawn (Jim) Cronin of Mt. Morris, Kelly (Teresa) King of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Stacey (Matt) Jones of Ohio, Chad (Pamela) King of Flint, Steven (Autumn) Cronin of Clio, Nancy King and fiancA Robert Manchester II of Midland, Patrick King of Mt. Morris; sisters, Mary Blandford of Burton, Maxine Lane of Swartz Creek, Shirley Mortson of Arizona. Doris had six great grandchildren. \ \ Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband William King, sister Marion Roberts, and brother Kenneth "Eldona Frownfelter. \ \ \ \ Friends may share memories, prayers, and stories at the funeral home and online at www.martinfuneralhome.com. \ \
