Parker, Daniel Isaac age 75 of Mt. Morris died Friday, April 20, 2007 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris, Pastor Betty Gamboa officiating. Danielas family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:00am until time of service at 2:00pm, memorial donations may be considered to Avalon Hospice, or First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris, envelopes are available at the church.\ \ Daniel was born June 5, 1931 in Bridgeport, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George and Marguerite (Leaym) Parker. He and Elva Jean Ward were united in marriage on October 16, 1948. He was employed by CSX Transportation as a mechanic from 1956, until his retirement in 1993. Daniel was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris. \ Daniel leaves to cherish his memory: wife Elva Jean, 6 children, Yvonne Higgins, Debra and husband Jay Lamphear, George and wife Patricia Parker, Robert and wife Cindy Parker, Bruce and wife Sharon Parker, and Douglas Parker, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister Lois and husband Ed Ellis, 3 brothers John and wife Vera Parker, Fred Parker and Char, and Bill Parker, and Diane and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Kathryn.\ \ \ \ Friends may share memories, prayers, and stories at the funeral home and online at www.martinfuneralhome.com. \
