Obituary of Rosemary Holloway-Sprague

ROSEMARY HOLLOWAY-SPRAGUE\ Of Clio, formerly of Mt. Morris, age 81, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 2:30 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Pastor Betty Gamboa will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:00pm and Saturday from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:30pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Morris. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rosemary was born July 22, 1925 in Lansing, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray and Doris (Keller) Lounsbery. She and William R. Holloway, Sr. were united in marriage July 26, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1989. Rosemary and Donald L. Sprague were united in marriage November 26, 1994. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Morris, was a den mother and troop leader for the cub scouts and girls scouts when her children were younger and was very artistic expressing herself with china painting, cake decorating and many other crafts. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald L. Sprague, of Clio, children: Sue and husband Richard Miner of Otter Lake, Dr. William Jr. and wife Kathy Holloway of Eastampton, New Jersey, Michael T. Holloway of Saginaw, Deborah Sprague of Mt. Morris, Pamela Savage of Stockbridge, Georgia, and Di and Nancy Sprague of Hancock, Michigan, nine grandchildren: Kevin, William, Carrie, Justin, Amanda, Andrew, Emily, Amy and Kaitlin, eleven great-grandchildren,\ sister, Leona Terry of Chelsea, many nieces, nephews and friends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Sr. and her sister, Marjorie.
