Of Otisville, age 77, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Jim James will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 8:00, and on Tuesday from 9:00 until time of service at 10:30. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Otisville United Methodist Church or Carriage Town Ministries. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Leona was born December 3, 1929 in Flint, MI the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Anna (Gazarak) Lane. She and Myron AaA"JimAaA Kimmel were united in marriage in Angola, Indiana, September 1, 1956. She was a member of the Otisville United Methodist Church, where she served on the Pastor Parish Committee, as well as other church committees over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, the Red Hatters, and TOPS friends. \ \ Leona leaves to cherish her memory her children: Debathy and husband Roger Wilson, Steven Kimmel, Michael and wife Joan Crespo, Sherry and husband Mark Hemingway, Linda and husband Steve Martin, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. \ \ Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Myron J. Kimmel, Jr., parents, son David Crespo Sr.,twin brother Leonard Lane, and sister Mary Richter.
