Obituary of Odis Edgar Davidson

Davidson, Odis Edgar Sr.\ Age 81 of Taylor, formerly of Mt. Morris, died June 26, 2007 at the Oakwood Heritage Hospital in Taylor, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Pastor David Burkett will be officiating with burial following in Crestwood Cemetery. Family will greet friends and loved ones from 9:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Odis was born March 30, 1926 in Macon, Tennessee, son of Mr. & Mrs. Odis Alexander and Lizzie Evelyn (Stines) Davidson. He married Florence Evelyn Toombs in 1955 and she preceded him in death in 1962. He later married Betty Lou Wurn. Odis worked for GM Truck & Bus for 30 year and was a member of the UAW Local #598. Left to cherish his memory are his five children, Gary and wife Cathy Davidson of Otisville, Kimberly Kelsey of Davison, Patricia and husband Terry Harrington of Au Gres, Odis and wife Debra Ann Davidson of Taylor, Walter Davidson and life companion Pamela Turner of Flint; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; siblings, Clyde, Mary and Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews. Odis was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Florence; brothers, Franklin and infant,Walter; and sister, Inez.
