Obituary of Yvonne Finch

Of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. On Tuesday evening, family, friends and parishioners will gather to pray the Rosary at 7:00 pm. On Wednesday, Yvonne will lie in state at St Marys Church from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be considered to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Yvonne was born February 16, 1938 in Clio, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William G. and Mary E. (Dowd) LeDuc. She married Donald Finch in Clio, Michigan on February 18, 1956. Sadly, he preceded her in death on November 23, 2011. Yvonne worked for the Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools. She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church since 1961. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wendy and husband, Donald Allan, Susan and husband, Warren Birkenhauer, and Christopher and wife, Janine Finch; nine grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
