MARTIN, Seymour E. AaA"BudAaA\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 74, passed away, Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Mr. Vernon Lawrence will officiate with cremation to follow. Family will greet friends and loved ones from 1:00pm, Saturday until time of service at 2:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Childrens fund at Hurley Medical Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Bud was born May 24, 1933 in Saginaw, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour and Ella (Moore) Martin. He and Margaret Pastiva were united in marriage February 1, 1958 in Flint. He worked at Fisher-Body Coldwater Rd. and retired from GM in 1984. He was a dedicated Amateur Radio Operator, was a member of the American Legion Post 154 and the Elks Lodge 2731 of Zephyrhills, Florida. He and his wife wintered in Zephyrhills, Florida for the past 21 years. \ \ \ Those left to cherish his memory are:\ His wife Margaret Ann (Pastiva) Martin of Mt. Morris\ Joe Martin of Scottsdale, Arizona\ Jim Martin of Clio\ Sheryl Hart of Flint Twp.\ \ Grandchildren; Trisha Hart and Greg Colwell\ Ian Martin\ Tiffany Martin\ Tyler Martin\ Christine Martin\ Alisha Hart\ Christopher Hart\ \ Great Grandaughter; Elliana Colwell\ \ Brother-in-law; Henry Giltrop of Bridgeport, Michigan\ Nephew; Michael Giltrop \ \ His beloved dogs Brittany and Teddy\ and his many friends in Florida.\ \ His family would like to say "Thank You" to McLaren Nurses in ICU, Select Specialty Hospital, and the Nurses and Dr. Patel in Hurley ICU.\ \ Bud was preceded in death by his parents, \ his sister: Josephine Giltrop and\ Nephew; Rodney Giltrop\ \ Friends may share a memory with the family at the funeral home, church or online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.\ \ \
