Of Akron , age 81, went home to be with the Lord peacefully Saturday, September 1, 2007 with his loving family at his side at Tuscola Medical Care Facility. The funeral service will take place, at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Dennis Kucharczyk will officiate with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery. \ \ The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be considered to Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Heartland Hospice, or Alzheimers Association. Jim was born June 3, 1926 in Fairgrove, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and LaVona (Bosley) McRae. He and Alice Carva were united in marriage on August 5, 1944 in Akron He was a hard working cash crop farmer and manager of a herd of Jersey dairy cattle in Fairgrove for his entire life. He loved conversation, fishing, mushroom hunting, snow blowing in the winter and helping friends, family and neighbors at anytime. \ \ Jim leaves to cherish his memory: loving mate: Ann Tebedo, 4 daughters: Diane and husband Brian Dusute, June and husband Edward Schutt Jenny and husband Mike Sabo, Pam and husband Randy Katzinger and 6 Step sons: Ron and wife Marlene Tebedo, Dave and wife Diane Tebedo, Calvin Tebedo, Larry and wife Joy Tebedo, John and wife Sherrie Tebedo, Bill and wife Carol Tebedo, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Charles Willson, 1 sister: Hazel Kimmel. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Alice, son William Charles McRae, 10 brothers and sister.\ \
