Obituary of Robert N. McCullough

Of Burton, age 78, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 AM , Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Pastor Doug Klein will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 6-9 PM Thursday. Friday morning Robert will be taken to the church where friends may call from 10 AM until time of service at 11AM. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.\ \ Robert was born March 31, 1929 in Rexton, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Jennie (King) McCullough. After graduating from high school he served honorably with the U. S. Army as a paratrooper. Robert retired from General Motors as an Inspector after 30 years of service. He was a man who loved little animals, especially cats but loved his family even more. \ \ Surviving are his sister, Leona Foy of Clarksville, Michigan; brother, Bill McCullough of Clio and many nieces and nephews. \ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ruth, and brothers, John and Dale.
