Obituary of Aline Marie Clark

Of Mt. Morris, age 94, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Monday, November 19, 2007 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the Miles Martin Funeral Home to receive friends on Sunday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm. On Monday morning, Aline will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.\ \ Aline was born July 22, 1913 in White Bear, Minnesota the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Marie (Pautnaude) Millette. She and Earl Jon Clark were united in marriage in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1984. Aline worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a seamstress for many years and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Emmanuel Prayer Group. She loved playing the piano, dancing, singing, playing bingo and was great story-teller.\ \ Left to cherish her memory are five children; Velva and husband Paul Winkel, Marlene Clark, Willis and wife Maria Clark, Marie and husband Stanley Moody, Earl and wife Judy Clark, 23 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren, brother, Patrick Millette, and best "sidekick," Linda Glover, and many nieces, nephews and friends.\ \ Aline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl J. Clark, twin sons, Daniel and Darrell, daughter, Noel, grandson, Joey Clark, three brothers and two sisters.
