Obituary of Tammie L. Daly

Age 64, of Mt. Morris, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, in Ascension Genesys. A Celebration of life will take place on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Clio Eagles, 13267 N. Saginaw Rd. Clio, Michigan from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Tammie’s tribute page on martinfuneralhome.com. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

 

Tammie was born in Standish, Michigan, on February 17, 1960, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Robert and Anna B. (Bootz) McKenzie. She was married to the love of her life, Dennis L. Daly in Flint, Michigan. She worked for Meijer for 10 years until retiring in 2022. In her free time, Tammie loved spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and playing BINGO.  She also loved taking trips to Soaring Eagle Casino to play the slot machines. Tammie was a second mother to her nieces; she would babysit them and take them on vacations.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Dennis; three siblings: Shelley and husband, Art Cohen, Debbie and husband, Brian Whitlock, and Dale and wife, Misha McKenzie; special nieces and nephews: Angie Yott, Halena Western, Brandy Jarvinen, Devon and Austin McKenzie; and many other nieces and nephews; special friend, Brenda Scriber.

 

Tammie was preceded in death by her parents.
