Of Mt. Morris, age 89, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at his residence. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will greet loved ones on Thursday from 11:00am until 1:00pm and from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, on Friday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. On Thursday evening, family and friends will gather at 6:00pm at the funeral home for a Masonic Memorial, conducted under the auspices of the Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge #535 F. & A. M. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Masons of Mt. Morris Lodge #535 F. & A. M. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Richard was born May 31, 1918 in Marion, Indiana the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl and Winifred (Whitehearst) Gunther. He and Anna Mae Griffith were united in marriage September 11, 1945 in Warren, Ohio. He was the owner and operator of Gunther Mobile Homes Court and Sales for 54 years. He was a life member and a 32nd degree Mason of the Mt. Morris Lodge #535 F.& A.M. and a World War II Veteran in the US Army.\ \ Surviving is his wife of 62 years Anna Mae (Griffith) Gunther of Mt. Morris, 5 daughters; Janice DiNicola of Grand Blanc, Susan Siegrist (Carl) of Burton, Karen Mason (John) of Clio, Selena Pivirotto (Steve) of Clio, Carla Strong of Birch Run, 7 grandchildren; Kitty and Nicholas DiNicola, Ryan (Rachael) Siegrist, Jonathan and Richard "Rick" Mason, Jesse and Devon Pivirotto, Katie Strong, 3 great grandchildren; Brett, Brittney, Nicholas, 7 sisters and 3 brothers.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and son-in-law Dr. Nicholas DiNicola.\ \
