Obituary of Linda Jean Davis
Linda Jean Davis, age 76, of Mount Morris, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at McLaren Hospital on Monday, October 23, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. Linda’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. The funeral service will take place 2:00 pm, Friday, October 27, 2023, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris; Pastor Robert Clark officiating with burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Linda’s tribute page on martinfuneralhome.com.
Linda, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loris C. & Neoma E. Hart, was born October 21, 1947. Educated locally, Linda graduated from Mt. Morris High School, class of 1965. She was a long-time employee of Chase Bank, retiring early to become her mother’s caregiver. Linda married the love of her life, David Davis June 30, 1966. Sadly, he preceded her in death on March 16, 1986. In her free time. Linda collected family photos – in fact, she had 33 photo albums, dating back to her birth and completed her family’s history. She also enjoyed reading, and her cats, especially Tinker, II. She was a kind and generous lady who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Surviving are: daughter, Amy (Robert) Clark and son, Ryan (April) Davis; sisters: Gail Wilkins and Brenda Hart; long-time best friend, Jan Brown; grandchildren: Robert (David), Olivia, Ada, Jonathon (Alex); uncle, Billy Caverly; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; sisters: Judy Miller and Kelly Keston; and her granddaughter, Rayna Davis.
