Obituary of Michael Collin Copeman
Age 57, of Clio, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at home with his family by his side. In accordance with Michael's wishes cremation will take place. A private burial will take place at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Howell, Michigan at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Michael's tribute wall at martinfuneralhome.com.
Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 2, 1965, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Paris Linda (Bennett) Copeman. He met and married the love of his life, Melissa Wymer on June 2, 2011, at the Michigan State University Chapel. Michael worked for AAA Insurance as a Home and Automobile Insurance Adjuster throughout the Genesee and surrounding Counties for over 20 years. Heeding the call of duty, Michael proudly enlisted into the Army National Guard on March 1, 2006, until earning his honorable discharge on September 28, 2013. In his free time, Michael loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, painting, and listening to his music loud. Michael was a proud grandfather, loving husband, and greatest father.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Melissa; mother, Linda Wirick; brother, David and wife, Mary Monine Copeman; children: Kelsie and husband, Brenden Bedell, Grant Looman grandchildren: Paizlee, and Jonah; and many other family members and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Paris.
