Megan was born in Flint on February 21, 1991, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Kimberly (Bruski) Szymanski. Educated locally, Megan graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 2010. Megan grew up spending her summers on Grand Lake swimming and in the woods of her family’s deer ranch. She loved all children, but her greatest love was for her son, Jaiden.  She said having him was her greatest accomplishment. She loved going fishing with him and her partner, Jermaine as well as attending every football game together as a family. Megan had a love for animals, especially her dog, King. Megan was known for her sense of humor and being a talented cook. She especially loved making cabbage rolls like her Nana’s. She was part of a close-knit family who deeply loved her. Megan had a very special bond with her dad. They spent a lot of time together on the back deck talking well into the night. Megan was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be greatly missed.

Megan is survived by her parents: Mark and Kimberly Szymanski; son, Jaiden Walker; partner, Jermaine Walker; sister, Jenna Szymanski; best friends: Krissie Martinez and Ally Bailey; her beloved dog, King; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents.
