Obituary of Thomas Jacobi

Of Birch Run, age 58, died December 27, 2009 at his home. The funeral service will take place January 6, 2010 at 6:30pm at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Noreen Harkins will officiate with Military Honors. Cremation will follow. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00pm until 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 2:00pm until the time of service at 6:30pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Thomas was born April 28, 1951 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Ruth (Gray) Jacobi. He proudly served in the United States Army, as well as, for Taymouth Township Fire Department. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Richard and daughter-in-law, Tina and Thomas Scott; five sisters, Marilyn and husband, William Dissen, Ruth Ann and husband, Dale Dowd, Katherine Gifford, Karen Griffin, Gloria and husband, Wayne Pannett; one grandchild, Blake Alexander; many nieces and nephews; several friends. He was preceded by his parents and brother-in-law, Gary Griffin.
