Obituary of Geraldine M. Thrasher

Of Grand Blanc, age 95, died Sunday, December 23, 2007 peaceful at her home. A memorial service will be held 10:30am, Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church in Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey will be officiating, with burial to follow at Assumption Parish Cemetery of Bridgeport. \ \ Thrasher family will greet friends at the Miles Martin Funeral home on Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the Avalon Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Geraldine was born November 18, 1912 in Birch Run the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellerick and Mildred (Spears) Raquepaw. Geraldine married Carl Thrasher in April of 1932 in Birch Run. Geraldine was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Fenton. \ \ Geraldine leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; David (Deborah) Thrasher of Flint, Lynn (Linda) Thrasher of Holly, two daughters; Jeri Marie (Bruce) Crossman of Pontiac, Denise (Pete) Makidon of Flint, one brother; Robert Raquepaw of Arkansas and Birch Run, three sisters; Marquarite Matzke of Birch Run, Lorraine Shepard of Flint, Wanda McBratnie of Bridgeport. Geraldine was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband in March of 1963, son Richard, daughter Patricia, brother Woodrow, sisters; Bernice, Leola.
