Obituary of Robert Graves

Of AuGres, age 60, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 at his residence. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm Friday, January 4, 2008 from the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. John's family will be present to greet friends and loved ones at the funeral home on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday from 12:00noon until the time of service at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ John was born November 4, 1947 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Vera (Irwin) Graves. Back in the day, John was known for his good softball hitting. John loved to spend time with his family and also loved to fish and camp on the AuSable River. \ \ John is survived by his daughters; Jeana M. Graves of Columbiaville and Leslie E. Graves of Clio, one grandson; Devin J. Pritt, grandaughter; Brianne Welch, brothers; Raymond and wife Elise of Mt. Morris and Harry and wife Chris of Flint, sisters; Patsy Morgan and husband Ernie of Auburn Hills, Mary Wahl of Pontiac and Teri Graves of Flint. John is also survived by his close friends; Jeana's mother, Michele Graves, Dave Hoffman, Faye and Joe McDaniel and Gene and Jeanne Pushman.\ \ John was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ronald.\
