Obituary of Curtis Bradley Gabriel
Age 66, of Millington, died June 8, 2022, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A funeral service will take place 4:00 pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mount Morris, with Reverend Carol J Freeland to officiate. Curtis’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Curtis was born on September 11, 1955, in Grayling, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Ramona (Allen) Gabriel. Educated locally, Curtis graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1974. During his childhood, Curtis loved fixing cars and taking road trips with his dad, Glen. Curtis was a dedicated employee at General Motors, where he worked in many departments during his 30 years of service. On December 22, 1978, Curtis married the love of his life, Linda Seeley. Their union would be blessed with two children: Gabrielle and Curtis II. An avid outdoorsman, Curtis enjoyed spending as much time as possible fishing, camping, and hunting. You could also find Curtis tinkering in his garage, working on a car, or out on the road riding his motorcycle.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda; daughter, Gabrielle, and husband, Robert Tucker; son, Curtis, and wife, Brooke Gabriel II; grandchildren: Jackson, Trenton, Owen, Destiny, Tony, Robert Jr.; siblings: James and wife, Zandrea Ide, Glen Ide Jr., Janette and husband, John Tahash, Marty and wife Rexlyn Gilliam, Brent and wife, Tammy Gabriel, Matt and wife, Patty Gabriel, Brenda and husband, Robert King, Kathy and husband, Eddie Coe; favorite cousin, Lorrie Pelka; and many other family members and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents: Ramona and Glen Ide, Charles and wife, Willow Gabriel; siblings: Kim and wife, Sharon Ide, Billy and wife, Cindy Ide, Judy and husband, Carlen James, Randy and wife, Brenda Ide, and Tom Grignani.
