Obituary of Elizabeth Mary Doyle

Of Frankenmuth, age 93, died on May 15, 2022. The funeral service will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Frankenmuth, MI. Father Patrick Jankowiak will officiate. The family will be present to receive friends starting at 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Veterans of America. Envelopes will be available at church.

 

Elizabeth was born September 9, 1928, in Port Huron, Michigan, the daughter of Tobias and Mrs. Catherine (Urban) Zauner. Elizabeth and Dennis Doyle, Sr. were united in marriage on November 28, 1953.

 

Elizabeth and her husband raised 5 children. She also worked in the kitchen as a cook at Montague Elementary School in Mount Morris. She enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, making cakes, Easter candy, and peanut brittle.

 

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Dennis Doyle, Jr., Peter Doyle, Alicia Duso (James), and Martin Doyle (Diane). Elizabeth has 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Ann Vincent.

 

Preceding her in death are Dennis Doyle, Sr. (husband), Denise Gray (daughter), Connie Doyle (daughter-in-law), Tobias and Catherine Zauner (Urban) (Parents), Pete and Joe (brothers), Theresa, Rose, and Mary (sisters).
