Obituary of Luella Marie Howard

Of Mt. Morris, age 85, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Home. The funeral service will take place 10:00 am, Monday, January 14, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Paul Schwermer will officiate with cremation to follow. LuellaAaas family will greet friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 3:00pm -8:00pm and Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm and on Monday from 9:00am until the time of service at 10:00am. On Sunday evening, family, friends and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray a Scriptural Service at 6:30pm.Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Luella was born September 22, 1922 in Onaway, Michigan, the third child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Ethel (Wickwire) Lee. She and George Edward Howard were united in marriage August 26, 1940 in Flint, Michigan. Luella enjoyed the outdoors, camping, square dancing, crocheting, embrodery, quitting, sewing, and spending time with her family and animals. Luella is survived by her loving husband of 68 years,George Edward Howard, Mt. Morris, MI; 1 son:Roger(Patsy) Howard Sr., Flint, MI; 2 daughters: Cammie(Dale)Foster of Gladwin, MI, Tammie LaFray of Florida;5 grandchildren:Debbie(Mike)Leclaire, Roger(Lisa)Howard Jr., Karri(Jeff)Lido, Dale Foster Jr.,and Melissa(Terry)McCall; 6 great-grandchildren, 1 brother: Sherman(Becky)Lee of Gladwin, and several neices, nephews, cousins and friends.Special dog: Peppi and cat: Bright eyes. Luella was preceded in death by her parents:Henry Lee and Ethel (Wickwire) Lee, 2 brothers; Ben Lee,and Willard Lee; 1 sister: Eva Harwood
