Of Clio, age 79, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at BrianAaas House in Davison. The funeral service will take place at 11:00am Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Douglas Armstrong will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. RobertAaas family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday from 12:00noon to 8:00pm and Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to BrianAaas House in Davison. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Robert was born July 12, 1928 in Caughnawaga, Quebec, Canada the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall and Katherine (Hall) Williams. He and Dorothy Coote were united in marriage March 20, 1948 at the North Baptist Church in Flint. Robert was a proud member of Iron Workers Local #25 since 1945. He loved hunting and fishing with his family. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Dorothy, son, Douglas and wife Carol Williams of Lancaster, California, daughter, Kathleen and husband Ron Horton of Clio, eight grandchildren; Michael, Joseph, AnnMarie, Tonya, Sharon, Renae, Cindi and Jenna, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Sharon Beauchamp and many nieces, nephews and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at BrianAaas House in Davison.
