Obituary of Norma G. Trainor

Age 82, of Canton, formerly of Tawas City, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor. No services are planned at this time.
Norma was born February 23, 1925 in Wheeler Twp., Michigan. She was preceded in death by Joseph H. Trainor, her husband of 56 years in December, 2003. Norma is survived by five loving children; one son and four daughters, Joseph (Joan) Trainor, Jennifer Trainor, Patricia (Jack) Von Gerichten, Judith (Frank) Calzaretta, and Mari (Gary) Squire; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law; Gladys Pratt, and best friend, Pat Wheeler of Tawas City formerly of Inkster. Norma worked for the Cherry Hill School District in Inkster for 30 years as a special education school bus driver the majority of that 30 years.
She will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a wonderful mother, wife and friend. She was the strength of her family always and will be deeply missed by each everyday.
