Of Mt. Morris, age 69, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at her home. The funeral service will take place, Monday, January 4, 2010 at the Mt. Morris Chapel, Church of United Brethren in Christ in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with cremation to follow. Mary AnnAaas family will be present at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Sunday to receive friends from 12:00pm until 3:00pm then from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. On Monday, Mary Ann will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Mt. Morris Chapel, Church of United Brethren in Christ. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Mary Ann was born April 29, 1940 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vandy and Ruby (Hayes) Presson. She and Robert Wilson were united in marriage on May 10, 1957 after dating for 6 weeks. They were married for 44 years before Robert passed away. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading the Bible, going to parties, listening to Elvis music, and watching scary movies. Mary Ann leaves to cherish her memory three children; Ruthann (Lee) Butler, Diane (Chris) Knox, Don Wilson; four grandchildren; Leann, Terah, Kristy, Katy; five great-grandchildren; Austin, Kaylee, Brady, Alycia, Joey; mother Ruby; two brothers; Johnny (Judy), Terry (Sue) and sister Vanetta; several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Vandy, husband Robert "Bob".
