Angela was born in Saginaw on November 24, 1975, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Norma (VanWormer)  Skower. Educated locally, Angela graduated from Highland Pines in Caro. Angela was a kind and fun-loving girl with a great sense of humor who liked to tease others, so much so that she was given the nickname, Giggle Box. Angela also loved dancing to rock and roll music and doing the chicken dance and the Macarena, coloring, creating artwork, playing match games, cards, Yahtzee, and bingo. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Angela really enjoyed her 7-years in DeWitt, where she participated in the Transitions programs. Angela was also a long-time member of St. Jude Catholic Church in DeWitt and the St. Francis X Cabrini Catholic Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents: James and Norma Skower; two sisters: Renee and husband, Mike Griffin, Leslie and husband, Mike Kornacki; aunts: Connie and husband, Henry Hornung, Monica and husband, Mike Conklin; great aunt, Patricia King; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Eleanor Skower, Norm and Joan VanWormer; uncle, Joseph Skower, Jr.

Angela's family would like to express their sincerest thank you to Joanna, Brandy, CJ, Holly, and Annette of Dimondale Nursing Care Center for the exceptional care they extended to Angela.
