Obituary of Angela Joan Skower
Age 45, of DeWitt, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at Dimondale Nursing Care Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am, Friday, May 14, 2021, at St. Frances X Cabrini Catholic Parish, 334 Division St. Vassar, MI, 48768. Angela's family will be present at the church to receive friends from 9:45 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am. Rev. Fr. Christian Tabares officiating with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Angela was born in Saginaw on November 24, 1975, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Norma (VanWormer) Skower. Educated locally, Angela graduated from Highland Pines in Caro. Angela was a kind and fun-loving girl with a great sense of humor who liked to tease others, so much so that she was given the nickname, Giggle Box. Angela also loved dancing to rock and roll music and doing the chicken dance and the Macarena, coloring, creating artwork, playing match games, cards, Yahtzee, and bingo. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Angela really enjoyed her 7-years in DeWitt, where she participated in the Transitions programs. Angela was also a long-time member of St. Jude Catholic Church in DeWitt and the St. Francis X Cabrini Catholic Church.

Angela was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joseph and Eleanor Skower, Norm and Joan VanWormer; uncle, Joseph Skower, Jr.
