June was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 13, 1934, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Iva Garrett. June grew up on her family's farm in Elsie, where she was educated locally, graduating from Elsie High School with the Class of 1952. June met and married the love of her life, Clifford Helias, on December 26, 1975, in Adora, Florida. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 2012. June worked as a Secretary for Arrow Electric for ten years until the company moved to Arizona. She then stayed home to care for her family, that she loved so dearly. June loved to travel and would often take trips by train to Adora, Florida, during the winter months, and in the summer months, she could be found at her cottage up north in Lewiston, where she loved to entertain. Her grandchildren each took turns going to her cottage one week at a time all summer long. June was a member of the Zion Church of the Brethren. In her free time, June enjoyed cooking, baking, and creating stained glass pieces. June was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.

June leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Randy Blasdell, Dawn Ruiz, Doug Blasdell; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Robinson; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, brother, Rod Garrett.
