Obituary of Patricia Lou Lewis

Age 90, of Flint, died Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Medilodge of Montrose. A Funeral Service will take place 12:00 pm, Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1209 Coutant St. Flushing, MI 48433. Reverend Clifford Bira to officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be present at the church to receive guests from 10:00 am until the time of service. Patty was born in Flint, on March 25, 1930, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick and Marion (LeClair) Leeck. Raised in Flint, she attended Central High School graduating with the Class of 1948. Patty and Robert (Bob) Lewis were married on March 4, 1949. They were blessed with five children. Patty worked for AC Spark plug for 29 years, retiring in 1992. In her free time, Patty enjoyed gardening, cooking, golfing, and hosting all the family gatherings. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for many years. She was a member of Stepping Stone of Mott Foundation and Iota Phi Lambda Sorority.
Patty leaves to cherish her memory, five children: Lee Ann Francis, Mark and wife, Debra Lewis, Barbara and husband, Matthew Gregson, Lisa and husband, Todd Crannie, Michael and wife, Kim Lewis; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; dear brother-in-law, Dale Foltz; life-long friend, Flo Geissinger; and many beloved cousins; nieces; great-nieces; nephews; and friends.
Patty was preceded in death by her dad, Frederick; stepmom, Frieda; mother, Marion; stepdad, Clifford, and sister, Bonnie; special friends, Erlene Theakston and Joyce Shumaker.
