Age 67, was born on January 13, 1953, and has departed this life on Friday, June 26, 2020, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Tyrie spent most of his life in Vassar, Michigan. Services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020. A family hour will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am at Greater Ephesians Church of God in Christ, 890 Norman St. Vassar, Michigan 48768. Memorial donations may be directed to the family. Tyrie leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Karen Lewis; one sister, Patricia Clark (Knowledge Clark); one step-sister, Priscilla Bass; both from Chicago, IL, four daughters: Myra Lewis Gaines, of Raleigh, NC, Joya Tomika Grays (Ryan Grays) of Davison, MI, Lanell Cohn of Flint, MI, and Katina Lewis, of Saginaw, MI; three step-sons: Merrill Richardson Jr., Darrick Smith, and Christopher Smith (Shaniqua) of Flint, MI; 22 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
