Please share a memory of Gaylord to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

COVID-19 UPDATE: With the recent guidelines limiting the number of people to less than 10 at any gathering, we are asking that you consider other ways to help support family and friends during this difficult time as an alternative to attending a visitation or funeral.

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Gaylord L Mannor, loving husband and father of five children, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 83. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Calvary Cemetery, located behind St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. Social distancing will be respected. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church. Friends may share a memory with the family at Gaylord’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

Gaylord was born on October 9, 1936, in Flint. He is the son of Charles and Mary (Bourdeau) Mannor. Gaylord was employed by General Motors at Buick for 36 years. On April 23, 1960, he married the love of his life, Yvonne Wilson. Together they raised three daughters: Amy, Barb, Cindy, and two sons: Douglas and Matthew. Gaylord enjoyed the outdoors and some of his favorite activities included gardening, hunting, and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. He was a devout Catholic and proud member of St Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris since 1968 as well as the Knights of Columbus, Holy Family Council #4285 in Mt. Morris.

Gaylord is survived by his wife, Yvonne; three daughters: Amy and husband, Dennis Giannakakis, Barb and husband, Paul Mueller, and Cindy and husband, George Zureikat; son: Doug and wife Jenny Mannor; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a brother: Gordon Mannor; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
