Obituary of Cynthia Mae Drohn

Of Cass City, formerly of Vassar, age 87 died March 13, 2008 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. Cynthia was born October 13, 1920 in Vassar the daughter of Glen and Isabelle (Rodgers) Stevens. She married Harold W. Drohn on December 16, 1943 in Angola, Indiana. He preceded her in death January 27, 1987. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her two daughters; Linda (Dan) Swaffer of Saginaw and Suzanne Drohn of Cass City; one stepson Tom (Glenna) Drohn of Howell; five grandchildren, Christopher (fiance Samantha), David and Benjamin Swaffer of Saginaw, Jennifer McKee and Leigha Drohn of Cass City. Numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Betty Leach of Vassar, Donna McCollum of Caro, Lulu Belle (Jim) McLaren of Vassar, Lola Mae Stevens of Mayville, Mary Jane Gleason of Lapeer, sister-in-law Jeanette Stevens of Lapeer, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday March 17, 2008 at St. LukeAaas Lutheran Church with Pastor James Plocher and Pastor James Naumann officiating. Family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Cynthia will be taken to church to lie in state on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
