Obituary of Gordon Michael John Carter Stakolosa

Of Vassar, age 23, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at his home. Funeral service will take place at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the LifeLine Victory Center, 800 State Rd in Vassar. Pastor Wally Reames and Pastor Max McCloud will officiate with burial to follow in Juniata Twp. Cemetery. GordonAaas family will be present to receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Monday from 11:00am to 8:00pm. On Tuesday morning, Gordon will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Family Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. Gordon was born December 23, 1984 in Saginaw the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon, Sr. and Deborah (Schad) Stakolosa. He attended the Highland Pine School his entire life. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Gordon, Sr. and Deborah Stakolosa, sisters; Florence and Mikayla, grandfather, Carter (Joyce) Schad of Caro, aunts and uncles; Mary Ann Stakolosa of Mayville, Karen Metro of Vassar, Rose (Lee) Fader of Caro, Paul (Cindy) Stakolosa of Frankenmuth, Daniel Schad of Saginaw, Douglas (Pam) Schad of Bay City, Dell (Debie) Schad of Sebewaing, Deanna Schad of Saginaw, special friend, Becky Stadler, special cousin, Stephanie Schad, and many, many cousins. Gordon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Florence Schad and John and June Stakolosa.
