Obituary of Joan Mavis Jack

Of Mt. Morris, age 96, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
Joan was born December 2, 1911 in Ottawa, Canada. She later moved to Michigan at the age of 13. She later went on to work as a bookkeeper in the insurance and real estate fields in the Flint and Clio areas. Joan also was a dedicated employee of Howard Storms Realty in Clio and was a member of the Clio Historical Society. Joan was a woman of faith and was a dedicated member of the Baptist church. Joan also taught knitting classes at Mott Community College and was an excellent knitter!
Left to cherish her memory are special friends; Norma and husband Tom Thompson, who were her dedicated neighbors and caretakers; one cousin, Roy and wife Carol Dettloff of Illinois and several friends and neighbors.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents.
