Olive was born in Bromyard, England on January 8, 1927, to Charles Mckee and Florence Goulding. On November 30, 1946, Olive and Jack were united in marriage. Their marriage was blessed with four children. Together, Olive and Jack loved to travel all over the world. They celebrated 65 years together before Jack sadly preceded her in death on August 23, 2012. In her free time, Olive loved tending to her garden, crafting, or shopping, decorating and volunteering at the Red Cross.

She is survived by her children: Lynne Gearhart and partner, Ruth Christian, Craig and wife, Julie, and Bradley Gearhart; grandchildren: Shay Gearhart, Nathan and wife, Karin Gearhart, Ashley Gearhart, and Courtney and husband, Jesse Stratman.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, son, Allan Gearhart, five brothers, and two sisters.
