Obituary of Sammy Donna-Jean Frazier
Age 88, of Clio, died Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Cranberry Park in Clio. In accordance with Donna’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Fr. Charles Blanchard will officiate with private burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 21, 2019, from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm. Memorial donations may be directed to Cardinal Hospice, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Donna was born in Nebraska the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Pauline (Cozade) Way. She would go on to meet and marry Charles Frazier on July 2, 1955. Sadly, he preceded her in death on January 4, 2015. As a busy homemaker, her family was the most important part of Donna’s life. She was also a devoted member of Bethany United Methodist Church and enjoyed shopping, reading, decorating her home, and fashion.
Left to cherish her memory are three children: Chuck and wife, Ranae Frazier, Sally and husband, George Mellendorf, and Susan and husband, Pat Thomas; six grandsons: Aaron and wife, Courtney Frazier, Matthew and wife, Michelle Squires, Ryan and wife, Lauren Squires, Patrick Thomas and fiancée, Sara Bellant, Logan and wife, Tracey Frazier, and Shawn Thomas; 9 great-grandchildren; and several sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles and her sister, Beverly Amey.
