Obituary of June Marie Teeples
Age 84, of Holly, Michigan, died, Thursday, November 23, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. Funeral service will take place 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation &Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Bruce Malicoat will officiate with cremation to follow. Burial will take place privately at a later date in Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
June was born on July 21, 1934, in Flint, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William and Levada (Kester) Guest. She and Donald were united in marriage on August 8, 1950, in Flint. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 1984. June would work as a waitress for many years. She loved to sing and would sing for the buffalo dinners at the West United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, crafting, and gardening. June will be greatly missed by many.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Eva and husband, Larry Rivington, Jack Sovey, Jim and wife, Mickie Sovey, Larry Teeples, Marie and husband, Richard White, and Rose Gregory and fiance, Nolan; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Harrison and wife, Gen Guest, Fred and wife, Cheryl Guest and Jeanne Nitz; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, son, Donald Teeples Jr., two sisters, Joan Anderson, and Joyce Morgan, and parents.
