Obituary of Rosetta Kosut

Of Genesee, age 90, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Entombment will follow at Flint Memorial Park. RosettaAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to Carriage Town Ministries. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Rosetta was born July 8, 1917 in Milaca, Minnesota, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (Stordahl) Egge. She and John F. Kosut were united in marriage on November 10, 1950 at Salem Lutheran Church in Flint. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Edna) Bright, Alice (Diane Courney) Bright, and Joann Sawyer; grandchildren, Brent Bright, Lori Schardt, Jeff (Lori) Sawyer, Richard (Melissa) Schardt, Joe (Tami) Sawyer, Eric (Charissa) Bright, Keith (Teresa) Schardt and Joy (John) Graham; great grandchildren, Sarah, Amber, Garret, Shaina, David, Tailor, Hailey, Kyle, Courtney, Felecia, Grace, Kohl, Bowen, Zachary, Braiden, Maddilyn, Aryn, Emma and Myah; brother, Gilbert (Joann) Egge; and sisters, Bee Simmons and Babe DeSonia. Rosetta is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brother-in-laws, Lester Simmons, William DeSonia, Emil Kossuth, Chuck Kossut, Lloyd Beach and Ace Washburn and her sister-in-laws, Anna Beach, Lillian Washburn, Florence Kossut, Wilene Kossuth and Alice Egge.
