Obituary of Sandra Jo Treece

Of Mt. Morris, age 63, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Richard Treece will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Sandra Jo's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until 8:00pm, Friday from 10:00am until 6:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sandra Jo was born April 26, 1945 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Doris (Clark) Metevier. She and George Treece were united in marriage on April 24, 1965 at the Lincoln Park Methodist Church in Flint. Left to cherish Sandra Jo's memory is her loving husband of over 43 years; George; daughter, Ronda (Jeff) Judd and their children, Mitchell, Michael, Marshall and Morgan and daughter, Lori Lee Treece and her children, Steven, Nicole and Christofer; father-in-law, Fred Treece; sister, Linda (Gary) Zawol; brother, Ron (Alisa) Metevier and special friend and caretaker, Linda Slayton. Sandra Jo is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James Joseph Treece and mother-in-law, Louise Treece.
