Obituary of Gordon H Sneller

SNELLER, Gordon Harris Of Evart and Clio, age 88, died peacefully, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Bob Burkey will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm, and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Gordon was born January 21, 1920 in Lincoln, KS the son of Mr. and Mrs. William and Martha (Richter) Sneller. He and Phyllis Pierson were united in marriage on November 5, 1945 in Angola, IN. He worked at Buick for 30 years as a Machine Repairman retiring in 1976. He also had his own business as a TV Repairman. Gordon leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Patti and husband Cecil Ethridge, grandson Timothy and wife Cindy Acord, three great grandchildren: Crystal, Curtis, and Cody, seven great great grandchildren, two sisters in law: Romaine Sneller, and Bernice Dubreuil,and many nieces and nephews, special friends: Wayne and Coleen AaA"TroubleAaA Beedy, Nancy Romanec, Evelyn and Etta May, and Pastor Bob and Beth Burkey. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Phyllis, daughter Vickie, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and special friend Ron Romanec. The family would like to thank the Staff of McLaren Pulmonary Rehab Center for keeping him able to golf in the summer.
