KUZAVA, Ida Of Mount Morris, age 98, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 at home . The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. On Wednesday evening family, friends, parish will gather at to pray the Rosary. Memorial contributions may be directed to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Ida was born June 25, 1910 in Opalyi, Hungary the child of Mr. and Mrs. Ferencz and Amelia (Geleta) Szucs. She and Bernard J. Kuzava Sr. were united in marriage in October 26, 1929 at St. Joseph Magyar Church in Flint, Michigan. Ida and her husband owned and operated with their family Genesee Fence and Supply Company of Flint for 50 years. Ida leaves to cherish her memory two daughters Ida B. and husband Merton W. Moody of California, and Mary P. and husband Clifford G. Pike of Mount Morris, two daughters in law Lillian L. Kuzava, of Clio, and Cheryll L. Kuzava, of Clio, 44 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, with another expected, brother Steven and wife Pat Gansberger and sister Barbara and husband Sam Grzyinwinski She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather Joseph Gansberger, her husband Bernard J Kuzava Sr, two sons Frank R. Kuzava and Bernard J. Kuzava Jr. , three brothers Bill Gansberger, Frank Gansberger and John Gansberger and one grandson Daniel Kuzava The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland hospice, Donna Casselman and Sherry Erickson .
