Obituary of Jack Howard

Of Mt. Morris, age 84, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at his residence. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. JackAaas family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm and again on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jack was born March 3, 1924 in Crystal, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Judson and Ida (Mutzki) Howard. He and Eleanor Kerwinski were united in marriage on March 24, 1945. He worked as the service manager at Freeman Pontiac for many years. Jack leaves to cherish his memory his children; Bonnie J. and John Davis, Thomas J. and Judy Howard, Kenneth M. and Pam Howard, Bill G. Howard and Patricia A. Baird; grandchildren, Tina M. Brown, Robert M. Brown, Jeffery A. Brown, Paul C. Brown, Jack M. Carpenter, Lisa K. Schummer, Leslie R. Schutte, Laurie S. Howard, K.C. Howard, Becky L. Reynolds, Jennifer L. Long, Thomas J. Howard, Sarah K. Redick, Billy G. Howard and Daniel S. Howard; thirty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brothers, Jerry (Pat) Howard, Jim (Wanda) Howard, Bill (Sharon) Howard and sister, Carol (Dewey) Beehn. Jack will also be deeply missed by his loving companion, Penny, the family dog. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Eleanor.
