Of Mt. Morris, age 89, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma. A memorial luncheon will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, Nov. 11 at the Masonic Temple in Mt. Morris.\ \ Charlotte was a life member of the Mt. Morris Eastern Star #474 and spent many years helping with the making of pasties and helping in the kitchen with the many dinners. She was loved by everyone. \ Charlotte was also the president of the Mt. Morris Senior Citizens for a number of years. She devoted much of her time to the organization including visiting the various businesses in Mt. Morris for their assistance with donations. She thoroughly enjoyed her position with the Senior Citizens and had many years of enjoyment with them.\ No one could have asked for a more wonderful mother. She was such a loving, caring and giving person. Her kindness was spread to everyone. She gave of herself completely whether it was with the many bake goods (which she constantly had on the table) she dearly loved to make or just a shoulder you could always count on. \ \ Surviving are her children; Ronald and wife Lorraine Almasy, Gus Jr. and wife Mary Lou Almasy and Marge Burris; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister, Helen.\ \ She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild William Noel Burris(Billy), sisters; Thelma and Marge and brothers, Jim and George.\
