Obituary of Linda Marie Cronenvhet

LINDA M. CRONENVHET(Reed) Of St. Helen, age 61, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Dr. Mark Wood will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home 4-8pm Thursday, 10am-1pm and again 4-8pm Friday, and Saturday 10am until time of service. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Krapohl Senior Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Linda was born May 22, 1947 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Aldah (Huggins) Reed. She and Larry Cronenvhet were united in marriage in Flint. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 27 years. After her retirement, she worked for 10 years at Mid Michigan Health Services in Houghton Lake. Linda was born and raised in the Lutheran Church. She was a caring person and loved her family above all else. Linda graduated from Beecher High School in 1965, then went through Oakland University for nursing. Linda leaves to cherish her memory two brothers Larry and wife Donna Reed, and Robert and wife Penny Reed, and sister Gayle Reed; 6 step children Carol and husband Tom Zimmerman, Joseph Maurina, Kelly Maurina, Edward Maurina, Troy Cronenvhet, and Tracey Cronenvhet; 9 grandchildren, Heather, T.J., and Cole Zimmerman, Justin Ruhsterhofer, Justice, Liberty, and David Cronenvhet, Ashley Cronenvhet, and Alexie Cronenvhet; special friend Don Grigg; two nephews; several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Larry, and step son Bobby Maurina.
