Obituary of James Hascall

James A. Hascall 1935 - 2008 Was born June 23, 1935, the first born son of Marian and Clare Hascall. In 1957 he married Verva Ihrke (who predeceased him) together they had two children, James Jr. and Danielle. In 1998 James married Patricia (Kasprzak) Balbaugh. James worked as a Commercial Truck Driver most of his life and in his retirement years enjoyed wood working and camping. Jim is survived by his wife Pat, children; Jim (Ashley) Hascall and Danielle, grandchildren: Brooke (Luke) Turner, James III and Erica Hascall, brothers: Jack (Llynda), Joe (Martha), Jerry (Lori) and Robert (Joyce) Hascall, two special great-grandsons: Landon and Holden Turner, special sister in-law Violet Bacon and many nieces and nephews. Two extended family grandchildren also survive James: Joe and Alyssa Balbaugh and many extended family members and camping friends. He was preceded him in death by his parents and his precious great-grandson Hudson Turner. The family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home-Vassar on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm then again on Wednesday from 9:00am until time of service at 10:30am. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to The Hudson Heart Group in memory of his great grandson. Friends may share memories, prayers, and stories at the funeral home.
