Obituary of Robert Weller

Of Vassar, age 76, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Covenant Health Care- Cooper. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home Aa" Vassar, with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. RobertAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 3:00pm until 8:00pm, on Wednesday, from 1:00pm until time of service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers may direct memorial contributions to the Vassar Lions Club. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Robert was born January 19, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Lucille (Luthman) Weller. He was a graduate from Chaminade Catholic Boys High School in Dayton, where he played tackle on the football team. For the four years he played they were the Ohio State High School Champions. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and weekends at the cabin. He was active in the Vassar Lions Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his children; Diane (Jason) Graubner-Grover, Robert J. (Wendy) Weller, Barbara (Jeff) Kehoe, Beth (Joe) Kern; brother, James (Brenda)Weller, Margaret Ann (Larry) Ely; grandchildren, Amanda, Amy, Andrew and Austin Graubner, Katherine and Connor Kehoe, Noah and Job Smith, Jeff Rising, and Dakota Grover; former wife Nancy N. Weller. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Trevor James Edward Weller.
