Obituary of Kenneth Florida

Of Mt. Morris, age 87, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 27, 2009 at his home. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor Darrell Patterson and Pastor Scott Florida will officiate with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. KennethAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Sunday from 2:00pm until 6:00pm and again on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the Florida family. Kenneth retired from Buick as a Machine Operator after many years of service and also proudly served in World War II with the Army Air Force. He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Kenneth Jr.(Helen) Florida and Linda (Darrell) Patterson; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, with one on the way and brother, John W.(Sharon) Florida. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Josephine; infant son, Gary Florida; brothers, Lee (Marie) Florida, Joe (Maggie) Florida and Mack (Edna) Florida and sisters, Vera (Bob) Boughner and Dorothy (Martin) Panchula.
