Obituary of Beatriz Bustamante

Of Flint, age 82, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Medilodge of Montrose. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Thomas Nenneau will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 Noon until 8:30pm. On Thursday evening, the family, friends and parish will gather to pray the Rosary at 7:00pm.Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family wishes. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Beatriz was born February 20, 1927 in Mission, Texas the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jose and Angelita (Limon) Vela. She and Martin C. Bustamante were united in marriage September 13, 1954 in Texas. She leaves to cherish her memory husband, Martin, son, David Bustamante, step-children, Martin Bustamante and Delores Bordado; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Roberto (Luz) Vela, Gilbert Vela, Eva (Roberto) Quintilla, Theresa Sermeno, Jesus Vela, Reynaldo (Lupe) Vela, Guadelupe (Valde) Molina, MariaElena Vela and Jose M. Vela; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the CNA's, nurses and the entire staff at Medilodge of Montrose and to Heartland Hospice for all their love and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria Vela and Angelita (Limon) Vela.
